This inspired Mina Abouzahra to create The OSMB rugs in close collaboration with rural Amazigh (Berber) weaving cooperatives. Working hand-in-hand with the weavers, we celebrate cultural heritage while acknowledging the incredible talent of the female artisans and providing them with fair compensation. It is Mina’s mission to revalue the rich ancestral legacy of the Moroccan weaving craft – one rug at a time.
The OSMB rugs are handcrafted from locally sourced wool and can be made in any size. Each piece is a unique blend of traditional techniques and the Dutch designer’s signature style.
